Although my kids are over the baby and toddler stage, we still remember the days where our house was filled with walking toys and colorful toys intended for fine motor skill development and tummy time. With that said, no Christmas gift guide would be complete without a list of the best toys for babies and toddlers. Our favorites are below!
1) Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball Popper
The PlaySkool Busy Ball Popper is tons of fun. Drop in your ball, watch it spin, then watch it fly back out! We loved this fun toy and today it is still a top choice for us. I love the fun music it plays when the ball is spinning around. You or your baby just have to pump the plunger and then drop the balls onto the spiral track. When they reach the bottom the balls pop out the top! Perfect for your little one just learning to sit up alone and practicing hand-eye coordination.
2. Minnie Mouse Bow-tique Vacuum Cleaner
Another great toy that I was introduced to from Time to Play. Your little girl will agree that there’s nothing boring about doing housework with the Minnie Bowtique vacuum cleaner. This pink vacuum cleaner shows Minnie Mouse on the front. The bow lights-up when pushed and swirling beads come to life in the see-through vacuum canister that helps make it look like the vacuum really works. 
3. ExerSaucer® Splash™ Active Learning Center, Bubbles
We got our first ExerSaucer ten years ago for my oldest son. We still have the video we took his first time in it. He want from crying to laughing in about 10 seconds. After that, it was his favorite toy where he spent hours enjoying it. We had bought two more after our first – an older cousin broke it so we replaced it. A few years later when my daughter was born we got her one as well. Yep, we are huge fans of this activity center. The ExerSaucer Splash offers a variety of rocking, bouncing and spinning features with an aquatic theme. ExerSaucers feature three height adjustments to accommodate growing babies.
4. Bright Starts Tummy Cruiser Prop & Play Mat
Tummy time is so important for infants so that they can strengthen their backs and necks. Developing these muscles will help your baby move on to the next steps such as rolling over and sitting up alone. We loved play mats when my kids were babies. The Bright Starts Tummy Cruiser Prop & Play Mat is among the best to choose from. This car-shaped mat is loaded with fun.
